Dental Bulk Billing For Your Children With CDBS
Give your child the quality dental care they need
Having a beautiful smile for a lifetime is something your child shouldn’t miss out on. However, dental care can be very expensive, often costing thousands of dollars annually just for preventative care.
At Clear Choice Dental, we provide quality care for your entire family at dental fees that are easy on your pocket. We accept CDBS as financial assistance for eligible children ages 2 to 17. With the CDBS, you can rest assured that your child will receive excellent dental care. We offer a wide range of dental services for children, including preventive care and restorative care.
The maximum amount that may be spent on dental services in a two-year period is $1,000. When a child receives the first dental treatment, the two-year limit begins. In addition, the $1,000 can be spent all at once or over two years. However, CDBS and health funds cannot be combined for the same procedure.
Treatments Covered by CDBS
The CDBS has created a list of detailed items to ensure that the beneficiaries receive optimal dental treatment. The list includes the following basic dental treatments:
- Dental examinations
- X-rays
- Cleanings
- Dental fillings
- Fissure sealing
- Tooth extractions
- Root canal
- treatments
When scheduling an appointment at Clear Choice Dental, let us know if you would like to use CDBS. Keep an eye on whether you are close to the benefit cap, which can impact your benefit amount. Our friendly dentist will verify your child’s eligibility for benefits during your child’s appointment. Furthermore, we will discuss the cost of each treatment and whether CDBS covers it. If you agree with the services and the price, you will need to sign a consent form.
After your dental treatment has been completed, a bill will be sent to you for payment. To file a CDBS claim, you can use the Express Plus Medicare app, your Medicare online account on myGov, or the Medicare Claim form mailed or dropped off at a service centre. Upon receiving approval from Medicare, your benefit will be deposited into your bank account.
